Dr. Lawrence Loh - Chief Medical Officer of Health
Dr. Lawrence Loh is the Medical Officer of Health at the Region of Peel – Public Health. He was previously an Associate Medical Officer of Health and served as the Interim Medical Officer of Health in Peel. Dr. Loh is an Adjunct Professor at the Dalla Lana School of Public Health, University of Toronto. He completed undergraduate training and medical school at the University of Western Ontario and residency at the University of Toronto, during which he also earned a Master of Public Health at Johns Hopkins. He is board certified in family medicine in Canada and in Public Health and Preventive Medicine in both Canada and the United States. Dr. Loh is also known as the man who shut down an Amazon distribution center in Peel Region to protect workers and community health, during the COVID-19 crisis.

Fuelled by her passion and determination for equity and social transformation, and with the humblest of beginnings (born and raised in Mofolo, Soweto), Mbali holds an Honours degree in Dietetics, a Master’s degree in Public Health (MPH), and a Master’s degree in Business Administration (MBA). She has over 14 years of experience in the health fraternity, with 7 years experience in the field of corporate health and wellbeing, strategy, and business improvement practices. Noa Hadad – Director of the Gender Equality Division: Civil Service Commission in the Israeli government.
Noa is responsible for formulating, designing, and implementing policies regarding the appropriate representation of women in the civil service. In this role, she has focused on promoting family-supportive policies to secure work-life balance for both men and women. In addition, Noa deals with the role of commissioner of Gender Equality for all Government Ministries. Overseeing and managing the handling of sexual harassment complaints in the workplace. Noa is a graduate of the Civil Service Cadet Program. Noa holds a B.S.W in Community Social Work, M.S.W. in Management of Non-profit Organizations, and M.A. in Public Policy, all from the Hebrew University of Jerusalem.
Sonia Satra is a mindset and fitness thought leader who specializes in personal transformation for women and men by integrating the mind, body, and emotion to create lasting change. Lee-Ann brings more than 18 years of experience working in the field of Workplace Health for a large Public Health unit in Ontario, Canada. In her personal time, Lee-Ann works on her side gig (LA Koaching) by writing a series of workbooks and developing planning templates to coach workplace health professionals and organizations to plan a more effective workplace health program. Guy Glantser - CEO and founder of Madeira Data Solutions
Guy Glantser, Microsoft Data Platform MVP, is the leader of the Israeli data platform community and also the CEO and founder of Madeira Data Solutions. His career has been focused on the Microsoft Data Platform for more than 20 years, performing various database roles as either an on-site DBA, an external consultant, or a speaker. Nuz Chagan (she/her) currently works as a Wellbeing Community Lead and Partnerships Manager for LYFE, a wellbeing programs tech company specializing in connecting, administering, rewarding, and evolving live wellbeing programs that are inclusive, diverse, and built on human connection and community. In her previous life as the former Head of Health and Wellbeing at IKEA UK/IRL Nuz was able to work with the global team to align and evolve the wellbeing strategy for IKEA.
Bhavika is a second-year Integrated Biomedical Engineering and Health Sciences student at McMaster University. Having worked at How to Change the World as a Challenge Researcher, Bhavika investigated issues faced by several Canadian cities and reserves in reaching the United Nations 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development, many of which involved workplace health and wellness. Bhavika believes in empowerment through education and wants to continue learning with others to integrate knowledge from across the globe.

She holds an Honors Specialization from Western University in Women’s Studies with Psychology, Transformational Coaching Method Mastery Coach certification, Wellness Competency Mindset Coach certification and is currently pursuing her Master’s of Science concentrating on Industrial-Organizational Psychology.
Dr. Abiye Alamina
Dr. Abiye Alamina is a qualified Occupational Health Physician, and a Wellness & Resilience Practitioner. He has worked in West Africa and the Middle East, promoting employee wellness and wellbeing, as well as facilitating workplace mental wellness and resilience training. He was involved in launching the BeWell Wellness programme in Shell Nigeria, as well as establishing the employee wellness programme in Shell Iraq, in the Middle East, and was also instrumental to revamping the EAP service in NLNG, Nigeria.
He is currently Occupational Health Manager for OQ8 in Oman, where amongst other things is responsible for driving the culture of health and ensuring a thriving and highly performing workforce.
Richard Le Sueur, Director of Portfolio, EMEA
Richard Le Sueur joined the IWBI team in March 2020, from a based in the UK he is responsible for driving the market development activities of WELL programs in the UK and wider EMEA region. This includes supporting leading investors, developers, FM and HR professionals, and industry partners with an interest in healthy organisations and buildings in their early explorations of WELL, in addition to sharing insights on market engagement and project experiences through industry events and workshops.
Richard brings to IWBI an operational and business development background in commercial real estate (CRE). Over a 15 year career he has worked within 3 major asset classes across a diverse set of international and local markets for a variety of owners ranging from institutional pension funds, high net with individuals, to local government. With demonstrable experience in complex project and stakeholder management, be it through shopping centre re positioning or commercial placemaking on large scale city developments, he has worked with multiple stakeholders to deliver complex CRE projects through smart and sustainable design.
Dr. Ijah Thompson, CEO, Essential Medical Services
Dr. Ijah Thompson is a proactive promoter of living a healthy lifestyle. He is the CEO of Essential Medical Services[EMS]. He has been practicing general medicine for the past fifteen (15) years and workplace wellness consulting for seven (7) years. He leads teams of fellow medical, wellness, and organizational professionals to develop and implement comprehensive standards-based workplace wellness programs or solutions for a diverse range of organizations. He is a graduate of The University of the West Indies, where he is currently pursuing post-graduate studies in Social Policy, building on his training in Organizational Behavior. He is an advocate of having a balanced and rounded Christian life. His hobbies include reading, gardening, and jogging. He is a proud married father of three children who is passionately striving to be a better humanitarian.
